Back to Gentoo

I’ve been using Ubuntu for about 6 months.  It was a good relationship at first, then it started to crap on me.  Wierd issues here and there, to much compiz stuff going on.  Firefox crashes, pidgin crashes.   I want my long lost Gentoo back.  Long live Gentoo!! The control, the freedom, the power. ;-)   . .. ok, maybe a little much

IT and Certifications

So many of my freinds and what no often ask me about certifications being that I’m a sys admin.  I always tell them that certifications have become less and less important and experience more and more important.  Brian Madden has a great post here about his CCA experience.  I think it really drives my point home.

BTW – I got a 95% or so on my CCA exam.  Does that mean I know Citrix better then Brian M? NNNOOO WAY
